It was, and is still a very promising game. Tessa was very active in the beginning. And it all stopped at once. Very sad because this game has potention enough. I suggest that you play the game as is. And enjoy so far.

It's always unfortunate when a gem like this game is "abandoned", even more so there are a lot of garbage games out there that continue to be updated every month. I really hope that Tessa manages to fix all the changes she had in her life and manages to get back to this, it was just great.

The Main issue is...she just vanished for over 8 months. No one knows what happened. Or if she is even coming back

i would like the game to go on but beyond all i hope author is well and safe ,shit happen and i hope here is just a change of pace ,no internet or minor inconvenience like that .we creeps are all there to play play Xgames and talk about that but hey take care of you mates

Again, no one has a clear answer as no one here knows the dev irl.
On the Patreon there was a public post in January where they said they are moving due to a new job and temporarily pausing all tiers. They then reopened the Patreon in the end of January but locked it again a bit later.
On socials, during those times there were next to no updates.
In my opinion, it's most likely they are busy with their new job and don't have the time anymore to work on this. I'm not aware of any health problems that they talked about. Most likely it's just shifting priorities in their life. Their profits from Patreon are also public and it's just a few hundred dollars per month, which probably barely covers the bills.
Of course it's not impossible that they have some deeper issues, but we can all hope it's not.

I also hope she returns. Cause this radio silence from the beginning of the year makes me think something really bad happened to her. Maybe even death...
Its just so unusual cause a dev would still interact even if they have months of inactivity due to work,etc. Here its....nothing
I could alrdy see this game forming the big 3 of futa games.

I prefer Having a HARD Time myself, but Star Periphery is still the higher rated Futa game on this site.
If one considers the concept of being 'abandoned' entirely according to this forum's rather strict, almost outright draconian classification of the word, then yes, it is. However, TessaXYZ herself has not made any kinds of announcements in regards to this project being outright 'abandoned'. Quite frankly, it should rather be classified as simply being 'on hold' for the time being, owing to TessaXYZ's complicated real life situation, which she mentioned earlier this year being the reason as to why she halted her work on the game. Whilst I cannot justify this uncharacteristic optimism with any manner of sensible 'proof', I do nonetheless have a great deal of faith in that the game is not doomed to be forever haunted by that horrid little bit of yellow text.

Yes, i have seen many a project that got abandoned tag on this forum and some of those eventually got an update, so i will hold out hope for now

This is, quite frankly, pure copium. The dev not only stopped making updates, but has been completely absent even from the discord. While I'd love it if this got picked up again, the odds at this point are extremely low.

As far as I see at least the Patreon is still Open isn't it? Considering dev closed it during time of absence I take this as a thin straw to cling on.
