This is a very interesting year. I actually prefer a year where we don’t really know who is going to win and despite all of the songs not being great I can pick good 10 ones. Positive thing #1: I think this is one of the first Eurovision years, where I pretty much don't mind listening to any song. I only skip one regularly, whereas in all other years I can't/don't want to listen to many more songs honestly. 2025 feels like the quality is not as grand, but therefore the quality is kinda steady all throughout the songs, if that makes sense.
Positive thing #2: My country finally chose a somewhat contemporary, well-produced song that could be Top 10 material!
Bonus positive thing: Albania FINALLY managed to get in my Top 10. Historically only for the third time ever. It's not a song for my playlist still, but I enjoy listening to it, when it comes up :)

I'm from Austria and love our entry although I'm not an opera fan. I would love to be a delegation host again next year (for Israel) as in 2015.
I always get very emotional listenig to the Israeli entry.
Although I don't want Sweden to win again, Bara bada bastu is my guilty pleasure.

I would definitely want Greece to win, as their song is very good in comparison to all others. However, somehow, I have a feeling that they will only end up in the top 10.

I like that Karol didn't put Poland in his top 10. I know many poles who also don't vote for their country if they don't like the song which clearly shows that this mythical polish diaspora not always put Poland in high spots.

Positive 1....Switzerland sending a classy , beautiful, timeless ballad that I can't get enough of. On first play I'm hooked it's gorgeous and gimmick free exactly what the ESC should promote.Easily my favourite.
Positive 2.....The number of countries that are sing in the native language Don't always understand BUT if I love a song/melody I'm very happy.(With one exception.....Malta ...sing in Maltese or don't but it's ridiculous to say she didn't know what "Kant" means....cheap and very tacky)

I find it weird how often you say Norway is the most modern song. That sound was popular like 15 years ago in the US. No chance you’d hear it on the radio today
Also completely agree that Israel needs more Hebrew in their songs. Really hope we have a fully Hebrew song sometime soon

We’ve failed as a society because a synonym for female genitalia is misused as a swearword. Misogynists all seem to forget where they came from. Instead of canceling this word we should own it and give it a new positive connotation. I think Malta should’ve fought harder for the female empowerment message in Kant. I’ve been watching Eurovision “with you” since 2019! I think it started with Maruv😅 And I have to say, this is the first year when my opinion/list is SO DIFFERENT from yours. Which is totally ok I guess.
However, the only thing I was very confident about was that you’d have Greece on the list🥲 how come it didn’t make it💔
